Japan

I’ve arrived in Japan unprepared. One day. Almost by accident.

Japan is much more than people imagine. It’s much more than what magazine show you. It’s much more than your friends will relate. It’s much more than you imagine.

Tokyo is the city that shaped me in what I’m today. Because it’s the most amazing city in the world and a tectonic shift in mind, but primarily since that’s where I started my digital intelligence work.

I unlearned everything. Then relearned.

Japan keeps my learning in check. When I start thinking like everything seem evident, Japan helps me reshape my thinking.

While I obviously apply this tectonic technique to my intelligence work, I also offer my bridging Japan experience to clients when needed.

i. Information

Dedicated information about the web scene in Japan and how people interact online through my online content sharing. I’m also the editor-in-chief of Mobile in Japan, a blog dedicated to Japanese mobile technologies.

ii. Liaison

Organizing meetings between people, entrepreneurs, brands and companies interested in learning from each other. I obviously enjoy organizing Tokyo 2.0, but have also given a hand to various people, from Geeks on a Plane to Google, from journalists -even TV- to event organizers.

iii. Speaker

I enjoy talking about Japan. I could do for hours in a row. Sometimes I even do that profesionnaly on panels or for private groups willing to learn more.

iv. Consulting

Same as my digital intelligence work, my worked spans from board advisory to executive search. And if I can’t do it, I’ll find someone I trust who will.
